Robin has worked in the London insurance market for over twenty-five years and qualified as an Associate Member of the CII in 1997. He joined Caytons in 2011, where he established the claims team within the firm, and later became a partner.

Prior to this, for over ten years Robin managed the Professional Lines claims department of what was the largest independent Lloyd’s insurance broker, managing the claims team and assisting the Head of Claims, handling professional negligence and D&O claims for a wide variety of professionals within these classes of business, including surveyors, architects, engineers, financial advisors, hedge fund managers, insurance brokers and underwriting agents.

Having also worked for a leading Lloyd’s syndicate, Robin has a thorough understanding of the roles of both insurers and brokers alike and is well versed in their needs and those their clients.
