Barney obtained a first-class honours degree in History from the University of Bristol. Before joining Caytons, Barney worked in Westminster as a Policy Assistant. He recently obtained a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law and is now completing the LPC at the University of Law.

Barney’s main role is to provide support for the legal team at Caytons in the defence of professional negligence claims. This is predominantly in relation to claims against solicitors and construction professionals.
