During your training you will be responsible for handling your own cases in our core practice areas from their early stages to their conclusion under the direct supervision of a partner. You will also have the opportunity to work on high value complex matters as part of a wider team. Overall, the training at Caytons gives you the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most experienced lawyers practising in our core practice areas. You will have exposure to clients from day one of your training contract and there can also be the opportunity for client secondments. This will give you the opportunity to build relationships with clients which can be invaluable for your future career. You will also have the opportunity to undertake non-contentious work including working on policy wordings and advising on appointments, collateral warranties and building contracts.
