This includes an understanding of the complex issues arising from delay and disruption claims and the ability to meet particular challenges of the timeframes imposed by the conciliation and arbitration regime within Public Works Contracts. We maintain close ties with a number of technical advisors who assist in ensuring that cases are rapidly and properly formulated from a technical as well as a legal perspective.
Construction is one of our core areas of expertise. Our specialist construction team has vast experience defending claims against architects, structural and civil, mechanical and electrical and geotechnical engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors, surveyors and valuers, property managers and estate agents. Our team has worked on some of the largest claims ever to reach the Courts; however, no claims are too small and none too large claim and we always resource every claim in a cost-effective and appropriate manner
